Web UI Designer (Website Customization & Visual Styling Contractor)
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Web UI Designer to customize and enhance website templates for local businesses, with an initial focus on dental practices.
The ideal candidate combines strong visual design skills with artistic creativity and can transform standard website templates into polished, professional websites that feel modern, trustworthy, and visually distinctive. We are looking for someone with an exceptional eye for aesthetics who understands how color, typography, imagery, spacing, and visual hierarchy work together to create engaging user experiences.
This is a project-based independent contractor opportunity. Work is assigned on a per-project basis, with compensation paid upon successful completion of each website. This position does not include employment benefits or guaranteed project volume.
Responsibilities
- Customize website templates to create a more professional and unique appearance.
- Apply cohesive color palettes, typography, and visual styling across all pages.
- Improve layouts, spacing, visual hierarchy, and overall user experience.
- Select and replace stock images that align with the client's brand and services.
- Ensure consistency throughout the website.
- Enhance calls-to-action and trust-building elements.
- Implement visual updates within existing website templates and frameworks.
- Follow project requirements, brand guidelines, and feedback provided by the project manager.
- Complete projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Experience customizing and styling websites using existing templates.
- Strong visual design sense with an artistic eye for aesthetics.

Compensation
Project-Based Contract Position
